Marcasite is formed in much the same way that pyrite (fool’s gold) is formed and is often confused for pyrite. However, marcasite is less common than pyrite. According to many cultures, it is a talisman associated with courage, expression, and wisdom. Cleopatra herself was often adorned in Marcasite.
Cuff bracelets have a long history dating back to over 7,000 years ago worn by the Egyptians, Mayans, and Greeks to name a few. They have been a symbol of rank, battle, and used as armor throughout the years. Sizes range from large statement cuffs, to smaller stacking cuffs meant to be worn several at a time.
This beautiful stone has many depths and colors to it. It’s full of black, silver, clear, and even a bit of orange. It’s set upon a double band cuff making it a statement cuff on its own. However, it would also look lovely paired with other stacker bracelets. Wear this cute piece on date night, with your little black dress, or simple with jeans and a t shirt to your favorite concert.
Size: Extra Small to Small; measures 5.5″ with a 1” gap. Stone is 1 5/8″ wide by 1 1/8″ tall.
