Petrified wood is produced when a piece of wood is covered with sediment protecting the debris from decaying under environmental stress. Eventually the sediment will be replaced with minerals hardening the wood in to stone. It is known to be used for grounding and transformation.
Rings have been worn for the past 6,000 years. The Egyptian pharaohs wore them because they represent eternity with no beginning and no end. They have been seen in almost every culture of the world symbolizing love, friendship, power, protection, and even wealth. Today we wear rings for all of the same reasons, but also just for fun.
This fun statement ring highlights this pretty piece of petrified wood. With the scalloped bezel and silver accent, this ring sure does draw some attention! The neutral color makes it easy to wear with any outfit. Wear it for your next big event or to your local weekend rodeo and show off this stunning piece. The double band is a bit wide, so size up 1/2-1 size.
Size: 7.75 wide band. Piece measures 1 1/4″ wide by 2″ tall. Stone measures 1/2″ wide by 1 1/2″ long.
